Paul V Rila is a singer / songwriter with German and South African roots and uses the description Art Rock for their rather complex music style.  On October 10th, 2020 the third Paul V Rila single "Regy's Got A Secret" is published, which deals with topics such as delusion, search, religion and inner conflict.

In this story main character Regy is trapped somewhere between dream and reality and is confronted with two characters Violette and Apollo, which could be personalities haunting  Regy or which are even part of Regy's self.

 

Paul V Rila is influenced by the soul and rock of the 70s, the pop-, underground and goth icons of the 80s which is reflected in their songs and imagery today.

 

PVR sings, writes songs, choreographs her shows, experiments with different genres of music and lets all this create her own individual mix of music and performance.
